Where do we check in for the conference?
Enter the Gleacher Center and proceed to room 600 located on the sixth floor of the center.
If you plan to use your own computer during PSU, please bring it with you when you check in for PSU.
When can I plan on leaving PSU Chicago?
The last class at PSU Chicago will end at 4:00pm on Thursday, July 1st.

We have a block of rooms reserved at a special discount rate at the Sheraton Chicago Hotel and Towers. Rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis and must be reserved by Tuesday, June 1st in order to receive the conference rate. Any reservation made after this date will be accepted based on availability and may not receive the conference rate.

Which airport should I fly into for PSU Chicago?
The Chicago Midway Airport (MDW) is the closest and most convenient airport to the venue. The Chicago O'Hare International Airport (ORD) is a larger airport but requires a longer trip to the Sheraton Chicago Hotel & Towers.
Recommended transit from MDW:
Taxis are available for approximately $35-$40 one-way. Shuttles are available for approximately $23 one-way and $40 round-trip per person.
If traveling by vehicle:
- Keep left toward S Cicero Ave/SR-50 North
- Turn right at S Cicero Ave/SR-50 North
- Turn right onto the Stevenson Expy/I-55 N ramp
- Merge onto I-55 N
- Take ramp left to US-41 North/S Lake Shore Dr
- Exit at Wacker Dr
- Keep straight onto E Wacker Dr (name changes to E Lower Wacker Dr)
- Turn right onto N Columbus Dr
- Turn right onto E North Water Dr
- The hotel will be on the right

- Take Interstate 90 to the Ohio Street exit
- Exit east onto Ohio Street and continue about 1 mile
- Turn right onto Fairbanks/Columbus
- The hotel is 3 blocks on the left
Train service is available from both airports via the Orange Line from Midway and Blue Line from O'Hare. Transfer to the Red Line and exit at Grand. From the Red Line it is approximately a 10-15 minute walk to the hotel.
Where can I park at PSU Chicago?
Valet parking is available at the Sheraton Chicago Hotel & Towers. For hotel guests, valet parking is $49 per day with in/out privileges. No self-parking is available at the hotel. However, there are self-parking options surrounding the Sheraton Chicago Hilton & Towers.
Fortunately, participation in PSU Chicago does not require the use of a car unless you have plans to visit outlying areas. The downtown Chicago area has many dining and entertainment options, most of which are within walking distance of the hotel. Additional information about area activities is available at the hotel.
For those participants who will drive to PSU Chicago each day, valet parking is $26 per day. Please note this rate is for once in, once out.
Will PowerSchool be providing breakfast, lunch and dinner?
Your tuition includes breakfast and lunch (Monday through Thursday). Breakfast and lunch will be served in the Sheraton Ballroom located on the Ballroom Level of the meeting space at the Sheraton. The daily menus are available here:

What is the attire at PSU?
PowerSchool University is very casual so please wear what is comfortable to you. The average day-time high for this time of year in Chicago is 80 degrees, with the night-time low averaging 61 degrees. Air conditioning in the classrooms can be unpredictable, so we recommend dressing in layers or bringing a sweater.
What is the cancellation policy for PSU?
If you go through the registration process and then discover you cannot attend, make sure to cancel as early as possible. Cancellations received after 5:00pm Pacific Daylight Time on Friday, June 11, 2010, will be charged 50% of the tuition cost. If you need to cancel your registration, please email psu@powerschool.com.
